Hi, I'm Andrew – an applied AI & machine learning engineer with a decade of experience turning research advances into real-world solutions. I currently work at Hugging Face, where I collaborate closely with enterprise customers to design and deploy production AI systems, while also leading technical partnership integrations that bring state-of-the-art models to market.

My career has been driven by a simple belief: the most impactful AI outcomes happen when you can cut through the noise of emerging research to identify what actually works in production. Whether it's fine-tuning domain specific embedding models for startups, architecting LLM inference infrastructure for Fortune 500 companies, designing and evaluating LLM applications for continuous improvement, or building tools that make open-source AI more accessible – I focus on solutions that solve real problems at scale.

Before Hugging Face, I spent three years at Cloudera Fast Forward Labs researching emerging ML techniques and translating academic advances into practical applications, and at Deloitte helping organizations harness big data and data science for strategic decision-making. This journey has given me deep technical expertise across the full ML lifecycle, from initial concept through production deployment.

I'm passionate about demystifying AI – not through buzzwords or hype, but by building things that work and sharing what I learn along the way. Whether it's through open-source contributions, technical writing and workshops, or direct customer collaboration, I believe the best way to advance the field is to make powerful AI tools accessible to everyone who needs them.
